The Career Calibrator
Overview
The Carer Calibrator is curated for job seekers, to empower them with practical tips and resources to help their job search.
The client brought up the e-book before the brand, but we worked on them at the same time since they were also related to one another. We went through the their own version, then discussed the directions that we could take. FigJam was our moodboard where we laid everything out.

The main thing that they wanted was "luxury," but this may be interpreted differently especially with the advent of technology. They were leaning more towards the traditional style of luxury, but also admired the more modern age to make it more relevant especially to the target audience (job seekers; fresh grads to mid-level professionals). So, we went with something in the middle.
Keeping in mind that the fresh grads to mid-level's were around Gen-z and Millennials, we had to decide that the layout and tone were entertaining but professional.

We approached the brand with minimalism and elegance which aligned with their preferred luxury and neuroscience theme. It was also important to refresh their vision rather than completely change it. When they mentioned their color requirements were the navy blue and gold, so the main colors were narrowed down (not changed) from their initial Canva version.

The information was applied to a few designs and I also gave them options outside of their current requirements for more explorative purposes (just in case). The samples already included what the layout would look like with bullet points, graphs, illustrations, paragraph texts, and the activity portions.

Another notable theme besides was neuroscience aspect, since the e-book also had some science and psychology rather than simple resume and interview tips.
The neuroscience aspect inspired the brain symbol in the logo. The monogram being versatile for the different variations (stacked, horizontal, etc.), which makes it flexible for different layouts.
